Several Palestinians were injured after Israeli forces intensified airstrikes, home bombings and evacuation orders across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian medical sources.
Medical officials said a Palestinian man was seriously injured when an Israeli drone struck an electric bicycle near Al-Istijaba Mosque in the Al-Sabra neighbourhood, south of Gaza City.
In central Gaza, Al-Awda Medical Complex reported that 10 Palestinians were injured in an airstrike targeting a residential building east of the Nuseirat refugee camp. Additional casualties were reported following another strike on a residential building in Deir al-Balah.
Medical sources also said two Palestinians, one of them in critical condition, were injured in a separate Israeli drone strike in the centre of Deir al-Balah. Israeli warplanes carried out further airstrikes on residential areas in and around the city.
The latest escalation follows renewed evacuation orders issued for several parts of the Gaza Strip, prompting further displacement of residents amid ongoing hostilities. Humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned that repeated evacuation orders and continued fighting are worsening conditions for civilians already facing severe shortages of shelter, food and medical care.
The conflict continues despite ongoing international diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire and improve humanitarian access, with civilians bearing the brunt of the violence.
